Cereal

Gilly ate cereal for the first time yesterday, and had some more tonight. She seemed to like it, but after the first few spoonfuls she was more interested in the bowl than the spoon.

The Salsa Incident

They say you learn something everyday. Well, tonight I learned that one should always, ALWAYS, ensure the cap is tight before shaking an extra large jar of salsa.

The pictures don't quite capture the full scale of the disaster. You can see the salsa on the floor, but the stuff was everywhere; stove, oven door, refrigerator, dog food bowl, dog water bucket, back door, rug, front AND back of my hat.

Lyn really seemed to enjoy herself while taking these pictures.

Storm

We had a very windy day yesterday. Fortunately we didn't lose power like many people in the state.

Luckily, we also didn't wake up to a tree in our kitchen (unlike one of our neighbors).
